About Us

Adventures by Amaris was founded by Amaris Scipione. Her love for travel began as a little girl. Her parents are both immigrants, and that gave her the opportunity to begin traveling international at a young age. She traveled to England and Mexico to visit family and to vacation. In her free time as a child, she loved reading Nickelodeon Magazine because there was travel section. In high school, she participated in People to People where she went abroad to play volleyball and travel to France and Italy. In college, she spend a semester working at Walt Disney World and a summer in Europe. She spent three weeks studying in Seville, Spain, and another three weeks exploring Europe. That summer she visited England, Wales, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, and Ireland. A couple year after college, she realized she had traveled so much abroad, but she hadn't explored much of her own country. She went on a three-week long road trip with her family where they visited Badlands National Park, Wind Cave National Park, Devils Tower State Park, Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park. That trip was amazing and she wanted to explore more. Amaris found a summer job working for Trek America where she worked as a tour leader taking tourist all over the United States and Canada. She crossed so much off her living list that summer! This travel bug has continued into her adult life, and she squeezes trips whenever she can. It's a true love of hers.

Amaris's friends and family often came to her for travel advice, and in 2019 she decided to take this hobby of helping people plan trips and make it her new career. She started at a Disney-focused agency in 2019, but decided in 2020 to start her own agency. Adventures by Amaris was born in the midst of the pandemic. While travelers stayed home, Amaris used that time to build the backbones of a new business. Today, Adventures by Amaris serves northeast Ohio and beyond. We cultivate unique vacations around the world. Amaris began as a Disney-only travel agent, but the launch of Adventures by Amaris opened new possibilities. Today she book trips around the world!
