Natural History Museum

We started our morning taking the train from Hastings back to London. We take the train to London Victoria which is a British Rail and London Underground Station. This makes it pretty easy for us. We hop off the train and then make our way to the Piccadilly Line. We ride a handful of stops to Gloucester Rd. Our hotel is literally across the street from the station which is why I chose it.

I don’t like to plan much on travel days because you never know if you’ll be up for sightseeing or if delays will occur to get you to your destination later. Everything was on-time for us and we had energy to explore.

We head over the the Natural History Museum which is a free museum in London. I did have to go online and reserve tickets and times for it. It was surprisingly really busy here! It was overwhelming here and the dinosaurs were scaring my son. We didn’t spend much time here and then continued around town. Playgrounds are great for re-setting so we headed to the closest one where my son enjoyed it.

We’re tired from a day of traveling so we head back to the hotel early. We grab sausage rolls and samosas from a take-out place and enjoy a casual meal back in our hotel room.
