Prepare for All-inclusive Vacation
Congratulation on booking your trip! This page has important steps on how to prepare for your all-inclusive vacation. The most important item is to make sure you have a valid passports. Most countries require the passport have six months of validity left when you arrive. If you have any questions and booked your trip with us, please book a consultation and we will walk you through these steps.
1
Obtain Passports
Passport books are required for international air travel for all guests including infants. Passport cards are not acceptable for this type of vacation unless you are driving across the border. Additionally, some countries require that passports are valid six months past your trip. Even if the country does not require six month validity, we highly recommend that it does anyway. Airlines are responsible for checking this information and can deny boarding. Passengers have been denied by the airline even in instances where six month validity wasn't required by the country being visited.
2
Book Tours
You are visiting another country with plenty of culture, natural wonders, and adventurous activities to explore! Most clients book 1-2 excursions to explore beyond their resort. Snorkeling, sunset catamaran cruises, and historical tours are popular options. Each destination has their own unique offerings as well.
3
Add Flight Components
Seats and bags may need to be added to your flight depending on the airline and class booked. Even if seats are included, please go to the airline's website and choose your seats. Many airlines charge baggage fees for checked bags and some even charge for carry-on bags. If you are booked on an ENVF flight through Frontier Airlines, we may be able to add checked bags at a reduced rate. Please contact us to add. In many cases, you'll need to purchase your seats and bags directly with the airlines.
4
Book Reservations
Some resorts accept reservations ahead of time for dining, parks, and spa services. Hotel Xcaret Mexico, Hotel Xcaret Arte, and La Casa de La Playa have a couple restaurants and parks that allow advanced reservations. Bahia resorts, Hilton Playa del Carmen, Paradisus Cancun, Unico, and Couples Tower Isle also accept advanced reservations. Many of the Secrets and Dreams Resorts allow you to pre-book spa treatments. Sandals allows you to book spa treatments. The majority of resorts either do not take reservations or reservations are made once you are at the resort.
5
Follow Government Requirements
Many countries have unique visa or entry requirements and its ultimately up to the traveler to ensure they comply. It is also possible that there are vaccine requirements. The U.S. Department of State outlines the requirements, but I would also check with the country you are visiting. These requirements change often and your travel documents should outline what is required.
