Passport books are required for your sailing and they must be valid 6 months after your sailing's end date. There are a couple exceptions where you may be able to use another form of documentation, but we recommend having the passport book. European sailings may require additional visas. If you will be traveling through the UK or Northern Ireland, you will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) or an eVisa. Flights, hotel stays, and transfers may be needed for your cruise. Virgin Voyages offers hotels for many of their sailings. The hotel options include Hyatt Centric Brickell (Miami), Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami, Fairmont El San Juan, Virgin Hotels New York, Sheraton Grand Seattle, Fairmont Breakers Long Beach, The One Barcelona, Sir Victor Barcelona, Perianth Hotel (Athens), The Village Hotel (Portsmouth), and Portsmouth Marriott Hotel. You can select your boarding time as soon as your cruise is booked. Download the app from the link below and select your boarding time. We recommend choosing the earliest time available. Fitness classes and entertainment are booked once you are onboard the ship. An earlier boarding time gives you a better chance to book everything you want. Some of the fitness classes are very limited and can be difficult to schedule.

Shore Things are what Virgin Voyages calls shore excursions. They have several options for each sailing and they can be purchased through the Virgin Voyages app. If you are looking for private options or something a little different, please contact Adventures by Amaris Travel Agency. Virgin Voyages includes their specialty restaurants in their cruise fare. We recommend making dining reservations as soon as they open. This is 45-days before sailing for most guests and 60-days before sailing for Sailors booked in Mega RockStar and RockStar Quarters. This can be done through the Virgin Voyages App, via My Account on VirginVoyages.com, or through us.
