Tour Description: Embark on a scenic drive to Selçuk en route to Ephesus, where the Virgin Mary is believed to have spent her final days. You'll visit the charming stone chapel at the House of the Virgin Mary, then continue down the slope to explore the ancient city of Ephesus. Walk along the Marble Road as your guide reveals the history behind impressive ruins such as the Boulaterion and Temple of Domitian. Marvel at the Fountain of Trajan and the nearby Temple of Hadrian, before visiting the Terrace Houses, an upscale Roman neighborhood. You'll also see the renowned Library of Celsus and the Great Theater of Ephesus, where St. Paul once preached, and an uprising took place (Acts 19).
